How we see children
We recognize the unique needs of every child and celebrate their individuality. Our inclusive approach ensures that each child receives personalized attention and support to reach their full potential. Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children. As its name implies, 62-acre Plain Township Veterans Park provides a serene place to reflect on the sacrifices of America’s veterans. The Veterans Hillside contains the Keystone Monument, and Gold and Blue Star Monuments, symbolizing the citizens’ gratitude. The park also has a splash pad and playground for young visitors, and a 4-acre dog park for furry companions. Adjacent to the park is Monarch Meadows, 20 acres of wetland that act as a shelter for over 15 species of rare and endangered animals, including monarch butterflies.
You will see it in the rooms. Infants explore, learn and socialize with trained caregivers close by, building those first skills. Toddlers and preschoolers move through a dynamic routine that makes room for curiosity, expression, independence and play. Classrooms and play areas are bright and spacious, set up so children can choose what to do next.

What you notice in practice
Teachers get down at eye level and follow the child's lead. An infant watches a caregiver's face and tries a sound back. A preschooler builds something wobbly, and a teacher asks what happens if it gets one more block. Small moments like these build first skills and confidence.
Rooms are set up for children to move between activities, with spaces for quiet play and for messy play. Our facility spans over 16,000 square feet, so there is room to spread out. The day has a rhythm: active stretches, calmer ones, and meals in between to keep children fed and energized.
How we work with families
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did that day, not just how the day went. If you have a question, ask it then, or call and ask us anytime. That is how we keep you in the loop between tours.
Starting somewhere new takes time, for your child and for you. We encourage you to schedule a family tour, see the rooms, meet the people who will be with your child, and ask your questions before your first day. Tuition assistance is available, and we are now enrolling.
