Come see the classroom your child would join. Meet the teachers who run it. Ask how the day is paced, where children eat and rest, and how pickup works. Tours run through the day, so you see the room in use.
Complete your enrollment forms and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. Shorter days at the start can make the transition easier. We will go over drop-off, pickup, and how you want to hear about the day.
Most families bring enrollment forms, a health form and immunization record, emergency contacts, and the names of adults allowed to pick up. If you are not sure what your child's age group needs, ask and we will walk you through it.
For the first day, pack a full change of clothes in case of spills or puddles. Add outdoor gear for the season: boots, a hat, mittens, or a sun hat. Nap items matter too, so bring a small blanket and sheet if your child rests. A comfort object from home helps. Label everything with your child's name.
Before the first day, decide who drops off and who picks up, and tell us their names. Agree on a goodbye routine you can keep short and steady. Let us know how you want to hear about the day, at pickup or another way.

The first days often run shorter, easing your child into the room. Bring a familiar object from home, a blanket or small toy. A teacher greets your child by name at the door and stays close through the morning.
At pickup, teachers tell you how your child ate, rested, played, and who they spent time with. Ask anything you want to know. Most children settle into the rhythm of the room within a couple of weeks.
Ask about current rates when you call or tour. They depend on your child's age and schedule.
Children from 6 Weeks to 12 Years Old.
A tour is how most families decide. Children can come along and see the rooms, meet the teachers, and try the play areas.
Families usually pack a change of clothes, a comfort item like a small stuffed animal or blanket, and any nap items if their child rests. Label everything with your child's name so it finds its way back. A water bottle and outdoor gear for the season are also handy.

The day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. Meals are provided throughout the day. We are open 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with busing to and from Lake Local Schools. Ask us how your child's age group paces its day.
Teachers talk with you at pickup about how your child ate, rested, played, and who they spent time with. Ask anything you want to know, and we will share what we saw.
Schedules depend on your child's age group and what openings we have, so the best answer comes from asking us directly. Call or stop by to find out what is available for your family.
If your child's age group is full, ask us to let you know when a place opens. We cannot promise a date, but we will keep your name.
Worth asking: hours and days, meals, who can pick up, and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how your child's age group runs its day, from play to rest to outdoor time. Ask what the teachers want you to bring on day one.
